Educational Support Services

The Chicago School offers a multitude of benefits to support and enhance our students' experiences.

ID Cards

Each student is issued an official ID card, which serves a multitude of purposes such as access to buildings and library materials as well as an option for "cash to card" services to conveniently pay for photocopies and vending services. Additional information for current students.

CTA U-Pass

Full-time students are eligible for the U-Pass, which is a discounted CTA fare card that provides access to many convenient public transportation options. The Chicago campus also provides a discounted parking option for students. Additional information for current students.

Disability Support Services

The Chicago School complies with all laws and regulations regarding the access of disabled individuals to education and works to ensure that no qualified student with a disability is denied the benefits of, or excluded from participation in, any school program or activity. Health Insurance

The Chicago School offers a comprehensive health insurance plan for students enrolled in at least nine credit hours. TCSPP also has a list of suggested independent providers for part-time students. Additional information for current students.

Mental Health Services

Capped, discounted mental health services are available for students through TCSPP's provider referral network. Additional information for current students.

Military Educational Benefits (Veterans Assistance)

The Chicago School provides support for military educational benefits at both the Chicago and Grayslake locations. The three main programs are: Veterans Affairs Educational Benefit Programs, Tuition Assistance Programs, and an Online Student Military Discount. A question posed to Helena Baillio by an international psychology professor inspired her to create a website that has gained national attention. Through the site she has connected with and helped individuals from over 800 countries. It’s also given her many opportunities to influence positive change both locally and globally.

Changing the Face of Latino Mental Health

Though Latinos are the nation’s largest and fastest growing ethnic group, health care professionals who understand the unique needs they face are scarce. A nationally recognized Chicago School initiative headed by Dr. Hector Torres is teaching students culturally relevant approaches to Latino health care and, in turn, changing the mental health playing field.
