The Student Services team helps students to successfully navigate The Chicago School experience. In addition to general student advising, the Office of Student Services guides students through registration, orientation, commencement, and criminal background checks. Students can also find assistance with specialized services such as disability accommodations and military educational benefits. The Student Services team serves as a general resource for students and as a source of information concerning activities and events at The Chicago School and in the surrounding community.
All incoming students attend a new student orientation to meet future classmates and professors, and learn about the many resources and benefits available at The Chicago School.
Records and Registration
The Office of Student Services helps students meet important deadlines and complete program requirements and paperwork to ensure that degree completion and conferral is timely and on track with expectations. Enrollment verifications, transcript requests, and general registration questions are handled by this team of dedicated professionals. Students register for classes using an online registration system.
Criminal Background Checks
Consistent with the institution's commitment to the safety and security of its students, employees, and the general public, The Chicago School requires all degree-seeking, on-ground students to complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC) as a condition of acceptance and matriculation. Students are provided the necessary information to complete the CBC in a timely manner through an outside vendor at their own expense.
The Office of Student Services coordinates commencement activities every spring.
