The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Xavier University in New Orleans prepares graduates to sit for the psychologist licensing exam administered by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards as required by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) and Xavier University of Louisiana (XULA) in New Orleans have entered into an agreement whereby The Chicago School will offer its Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology program curriculum on XULA’s Campus. The program curriculum, faculty and all other academic matters will be provided, managed and maintained by TCSPP.
XULA hosts the TCSPP program on its outstanding New Orleans campus, and provides all classrooms, program offices, and other support services, including library services and most services XULA offers its own students. All students in the program will also have full access to TCSPP’s online library and student services, such as financial aid, careers services, etc.
The Chicago School’s Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana is not accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), however, the curriculum is aligned with APA standards.
