Biographical Sketch

Linda Havard is Orrick’s Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for strategic finance, treasury, accounting, tax, partner capital, internal audit, planning and analysis, and procurement for the firm’s global operations.

Prior to joining Orrick, Linda served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Playboy Enterprises, Inc., where she oversaw all financial activities and functions, including treasury, control, strategic planning, tax, internal audit and technology. She also was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and advising the company on business development activities.

Linda joined Playboy from Atlantic Richfield Co. (ARCO) where she served as Senior Vice President in ARCO’s Global Energy Ventures division, Vice  President of Corporate Planning for the parent company, Chief Financial Officer of ARCO Transportation Co., President of ARCO Pipe Line Co., and managed ARCO’s investor relations and foreign exchange functions.

In October 2004, Linda was elected to the Board of Trustees of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), where she serves as 2nd Vice Chair on the Executive Committee for the parent, TCS Education System, and Vice Chair of TCSPP. She also chairs the Finance, Audit & Investment Committee for both entities. Linda served on the Board of The Chicago Finance Exchange from 2004 through 2010, including as President and Vice President. A founding member of Leadership California, she also served as board president and was the recipient of its 1995 Leader Award.
