ACT Raising Safe Kids Facilitator Training (13 CEs)
This introductory training over the course of two days (June18 and 19; 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), prepares child and family professionals to conduct the nine-week parenting program, Adults and Children Together (ACT) Raising Safe Kids. Developed and coordinated by the American Psychology Association’s Violence Prevention Office, ACT is an evidence-informed violence prevention intervention that focuses on early childhood before violence occurs or escalates.

Ferrari of DePaul University presents a review of the science of procrastination, including helping participants understand the causes and consequences of chronic procrastination, which globally, is common among 20% of adults. Attendees will receive a copy of Dr. Ferrari's book, "Still Procrastinating? The No Regrets Guide to Getting It Done."

This is an introductory presentation on how to create and maintain intimacy in long-term relationships. Dr. Hedges will present recent theory and research findings that point us in new directions for how we can establish more rewarding intimate relationships and how we can work together to make love last.
