The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education Hosts Ninth Annual Community Conference on Mental Health
(Chicago) Substance abuse is an increasingly pervasive problem both here and abroad, yet addiction is a health condition that can be prevented and treated effectively. Join expert panelists, including several TCS Chicago faculty members, who have studied and treated many aspects of addiction, as they discuss the nature of addiction, prevention and treatment. In addition to providing insightful and informative discussion on the subject, the Conference will offer continuing education credits for counselors of the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IAODAPCA).
