The Southern California Campuses of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology recently established the President's Advisory Council, a group of volunteer advisors convened to provide input on a variety of critical planning and operations decisions.
"After months of planning and careful recruitment, I am pleased to announce the establishment of our President's Advisory Council," said TCS Southern California President Michele Nealon-Woods. "Each member brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization. I look forward to the Advisory Council's guidance on issues of importance as we continue our internal development and external expansion in Southern California."
The Advisory Council's membership includes presidents, chief operating officers, and senior executives from Los Angeles area businesses and other organizations. The council's founding members are:
Matthew Gonzales, Corporate Manager, Organizational Development, Toyota Motor Sales, USA
Mr. Gonzales oversees professional development, training, and coaching activities for Toyota at the company's Torrance facility.
Mario Hernandez, Vice President and Manager, Union Bank, N.A., The Private Bank - Beverly Hills
Mr. Hernandez is responsible for leading a team of bank professionals specializing in traditional banking, investment management, trust and estate services, and wealth planning to high net worth clients living in Beverly Hills and surrounding communities.
Cmdr. Kyle Jackson (Retired), Criminal Gang Homicide Group, Los Angeles Police Department
Commander Jackson is a 30+ year veteran of LAPD and served as the lead commanding officer for the department's Criminal Gang Homicide Group.
Jonathan Larsen, Executive Managing Director, Transwestern
Mr. Larsen is a 20-year, commercial real estate veteran. He currently oversees the Tenant Advisory Services for Transwestern's West region, based in Los Angeles.
Bob McKim, Chief Executive Officer, Edward Charles Institute
Mr. McKim is a senior level executive with over 30 years of national and international technology and marketing leadership. Currently, Mr. McKim is CEO of the Edward Charles Institute/ Foundation-a nonprofit organization specializing in assisting other nonprofits with mergers and acquisitions.
Kent Moyer, President, World Protection Group
Mr. Moyer is a specialist in dignitary protection and threat assessment and is an FBI-certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor.
Dr. Stan Stahl, President, Citadel Information Group
Dr. Stahl is an information security expert and has provided technology-sophisticated information security services to the White House, Department of Defense, NASA, and numerous middle-market companies.
Dr. Joseph White, Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Psychiatry, University of California, Irvine
Dr. White has a distinguished career in the field of psychology and mental health as a teacher, mentor, administrator, clinical supervisor, writer, consultant, and practicing psychologist.
The President's Advisory Council will meet quarterly at the Downtown Los Angeles Campus. Members will assist the Southern California Campuses with program creation and planning, development of policies and procedures, public relations, and fundraising leadership.
Additional members are currently being recruited from a variety of different professions and industries including law, insurance, higher education, philanthropy, and community-based organizations.
