Chicago Campus Student wins Governor's Volunteer Service Award


image001.pngHoward Jones, Master's in Psychology student and Community Partnerships Leadership Fellow, was selected as a recipient of the Governor’s Volunteer Service Award for the Learn and Serve category in the Northeast region. Howard developed a mental health advocate colloquia series on campus and collaborated with NAMI to develop a Chicago School mental health advocacy student group.  In addition to his Leadership role, community volunteering, and full time coursework, Howard also holds a part-time position with Career Services and is an in-resident caregiver for two men with developmental disabilities.
