Fall 2010 RegistrationONLINE REGISTRATION ![]() Login information for ePortal (the online registration system) and email will be mailed to students. To update your mailing address, email: studentservices@thechicagoschool.edu Fall 2010 registration will be July 12-30. You will receive notification to your Chicago School e-mail account regarding your specific registration date. Students will be able to see the date that they have been scheduled to register on ePortal under the "Academics" menu by clicking on the "Online Registration" link. Registration will be open to you on the date listed on ePortal at 8:00 am CST and will close at 7:00 am CST the following day (23 hours). After your 23-hour registration period is over, your access to the online registration system will close until the Open Schedule Modification Period (see below). Please keep in mind that registration is on a first-come basis. In order to have the best chance of registering for your preferred sections, you should plan to start registration promptly at 8:00 am CST when the system opens. Once sections become filled, they are closed and you will not be able to register for them unless seats open up during the Open Schedule Modification Period. There is no waitlist option for courses. You should plan 2-3 versions of your fall courses in case certain course sections you planned to take become filled. This will allow you to react quickly and register for an alternate schedule. It is highly recommended that you reference the "Online Registration System Guide" and the "Technology Considerations for Registration" documents on this page for tips that will help make your registration successful. OPEN SCHEDULE MODIFICATION PERIOD Open Schedule Modification will open at 8 a.m. on [TBD] and will close at 5 p.m. on [TBD]. During this timeframe all students will have access to the online registration system to add to or remove classes from their schedule. There is no fee to make changes to your registration during the Open Schedule Modification Period. ADD/DROP PERIOD After the Open Schedule Modification period, you will no longer have access to the online registration system. If you need to make changes to your schedule during this time frame, you will need to do so using a paper Add/Drop Form. An Add/Drop Fee will be charged for each form you submit. Once you complete your Add/Drop form, submit it to your Department Manager to obtain the necessary signature and approval to make changes to your schedule.
