Our Programs

The Washington, D.C., Campus offers students a choice of programs at the doctoral and master's levels—programs that can lead to rewarding careers in the nation's capital or in communities across the country. Many of our programs enable students to "customize" their coursework to best suit their individual interests and goals—by selecting concentrations or specializations in areas such as international psychology and human rights, addiction disorders, child and adolescent psychology, health psychology, and more.

Our D.C. location—located in the heart of our nation's capital and in the center of the political and governmental action—provides students easy access to a plethora of organizations and agencies that can provide unparalleled real-world experiences for the psychology-professional-in-training.

Our newest addition, the Center for African Psychology, focuses exclusively on the research, service, and policy needs of Africa. Through the center, students may complement their education with initiatives such as international scholarship and community engagement; cultural awareness, understanding, and research; and international opportunities for students.
