Continuing Education

Utilizing a psychotherapy approach, Applied Clinical Psychology students establish a foundation in innovative approaches to child and adolescent therapy.

The Institute for Professional & Continuing Studies at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology currently offers Continuing Education credits (CE) to psychologists. At this time, The Chicago School’s OCE is also able to provide Continuing Education units (CEU) for masters’ level licensure in the state of Illinois (LCPC, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, and NASP).

Continuing Education Credits (CE) – Psychologists

The term “credits” refers to continuing education that is intended for psychologists. It is offered through the American Psychological Association. To offer CE for psychologists, programming must follow the criteria established by APA.

Continuing Education Units (CEU) – Non-Psychologists

The term “units” refers to continuing education offered for all mental health disciplines that are not psychologists (LCPC, MFT, LCSW, etc).
APA approved CE sponsor - The Chicago SchoolThe Institute for Professional & Continuing Studies at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Chicago School of Professional Psychology maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
