Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a natural science approach to studying and treating socially relevant behavior. Based on the work of B. F. Skinner, and continued through the work of Nathan Azrin, Don Baer, Ivar Lovaas, Stephen Hayes, and scores of others, our Applied Behavior Analysis graduate programs examine the ways that environments select behavior. Its scope has expanded to a powerful technology of behavior change that is ethical, conceptually sound, produces meaningful differences in peoples’ lives, and is empirically validated. Applied Behavior Analysis has become the treatment of choice for helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Chicago Applied Behavior Analysis Programs
At our Chicago campus we offer both Applied Behavior Analysis degrees at both the masters and doctorate levels. Our M.A. programs teach students the skills that will benefit their professional work such as the ability to appropriately determine the cause(s) of problem behavior, develop effective interventions, and properly assess outcomes. Students enrolled in our Psy.D Applied Behavior Analysis programs will be provided specialization options that include neurology, research methods, performance technologies, and biological and institutional issues in behavior. Los Angeles Applied Behavior Analysis Programs
The Chicago School’s newest campus provides students with the option of obtaining their Applied Behavior Analysis degrees at both the masters and doctorate levels. Through our theoretical classroom based learning and excellent out-of-classroom learning experiences, students will have the opportunity to understand and work with the city’s diverse populations in a dynamic urban environment. Graduates will develop the essential diagnostic and therapeutic skills they need for the treatment a variety of emotional and psychological conditions.
