Description of Organization
Casa Central is Chicago’s largest Latino organization with multi-services to clients from birth to 98 years of age.  Come learn in a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and bi-cultural environment.

Type of Project(s)

  • Human Resources Assistant
    Student will assist the Human Resources Department in creating an employee satisfaction survey agency wide and a survey specific to human resources services. He or she will conduct the surveys, analyze the data and provide feedback from the information gathered. This information will help the agency to strengthen their services offered to the employees. Bilingual encouraged (20 hours)
  • Information and Referral Specialist
    Student will provide scheduled hours of information and referral to community residents and update resource directory with current information and research new referral sources.  Bilingual essential (10 hrs)
  • School-Age Specialist
    Student will assist 6-12 year olds in out of school time with social skills and problem solving.  Bilingual preferred 
    (10 hrs)
  • Training Assistant
    Student will prepare and present skills essential for supervision to our middle managers in facilities, cafeteria and program staff. Bilingual essential (20 hrs)

Organizational Requirements

  • TB test, Illinois Department of Human Services background and fingerprinting checks
  • Nine month commitment
  • Attend monthly on campus CES seminars
