Participants refine the skills needed to evaluate the alignment, sustainability, and strategic fit of each of their agencies’ programs to support growth while maintaining quality.
Session 2: Distinctive Targeted Messaging
Participants become skilled at persuasively communicating their individual agencies’ good works in ways that compel decision makers to support their organizations. Enhanced communication skills include learning the art of developing and conveying to target audiences a strategic vision to build support for the organization.
Session 3: Getting your Board to Work for You
Participants learn to guide the leadership of their agencies to contribute productively in appropriate ways to solve problems, remove obstacles, and enhance an organization’s ability to achieve strategic goals.
Session 4: Leveraging Financial Data
Participants become proficient at utilizing financial reports to assess the effectiveness of resource allocation and to make informed recommendations for program changes, thereby increasing organizational growth capacity while maintaining program quality.
Session 5: Influencing Public Policy
Participants learn how to advocate effectively with legislators, governing bodies, and public sector systems, encouraging them to enact policies, processes, and program changes that will improve the well-being and treatment of the agency’s constituents. Particular attention is paid to identifying common goals across the sector and crafting practical action plans.
Session 6: Building the Future Oriented Organization
Participants build the skill set needed to strategically guide and shepherd and organization’s evolution by systematically building capacity and financial resources to meet emerging challenges.
