Biographical Sketch

Louise Lane has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry. She was the first woman broker at William Blair & Company. Prior to joining William Blair, she spent five years with a leading New York investment bank.
 
Lane has developed an enviable reputation as an astute investor. Her primary expertise is in equity markets and her skillful interpretation of stock research. Throughout the day, Lane scrutinizes extensive information from her many contacts in the industry and finance as well as from William Blair & Company analysts, on-site company management visits, Wall Street research, and electronic updates.
 
Trust, commitment, and proven results are at the heart of Lane’s enduring client relationships. Currently, she is working with some of the wealthiest individuals in the country, many of whom run public companies. Most of her business is generated through referrals, which is a testament to Lane's pledge to excellence in account management, confidentially, and personalized client service.
 
Lane graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. A lifelong Chicago resident, she is an art enthusiast, active in sports, a world traveler, and contributes her time to various charitable organizations.
