Roderick W. Pugh, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist; Diplomat, ABPP

Having graduated cum laude from Fisk University, Dr. Pugh entered into the military and attained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant under Gen. George S. Patton. Dr. Pugh spent years in Germany before returning to the United States to study under Carl Rogers at The University of Chicago, where Dr. Pugh was in the National Honor Society in Psychology. He graduated and became a practicing psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association and the Illinois Psychological Association. Dr. Pugh also served as a diplomat for the ABPP. He has written several publications, the majority of them dedicated to African American issues in psychology and psychotherapy. An esteemed international orator, Dr. Pugh has given numerous speeches in many places, including Chung Chi College in Hong Kong, Fisk University in Tennessee, and University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
