Description of Organization
The Safer Foundation helps formerly incarcerated individuals re-enter their communities. Safer has been working for more than 30 years to reduce recidivism by helping people with records obtain employment and social services.

Work with adult men and women who are in the job search process, mentoring in skills they need to enter or reenter the workforce (e.g., teaching basic computer skills, Internet searches of job sites and resume writing; conducting mock job interviews).

Youth Empowerment Program

Work with 16 through 19 year olds, tutoring them in basic high school academics, and GED exam preparation.
