My collegiate background includes a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, a MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a MS in Management/Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership, and a BS in Business Administration. I am also a limited licensed psychologist, as well as a Six Sigma Green Belt. My professional career has included several leadership positions including a principal consultant for my own organizational development consulting firm, a partner in a web design firm; and a member of the Board of Directors for a national non-profit organization. Other career opportunities have included a sales trainer, a marketing consultant for Fortune 500 companies; and the director of market research for a major automotive manufacturer.
My journey with The Chicago School began in 2012 as a core faculty member in the Organizational Leadership department where I facilitated numerous courses, chaired dissertations, and served on university committees. However, I begun my teaching journey by providing expert knowledge and instruction in undergraduate programs at various universities in undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Theories of Personalities and many more. I have also served as a faculty mentor and supervisor for adjunct faculty thereby responsible for their successful course facilitation and engagement at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. My engagement efforts have focused on increasing both faculty and student engagement in efforts to build community between students and faculty while developing leaders who are able to create value for business and society.
Lastly, I am also a professional journal article reviewer for The Handbook of Technology Management, as well as a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the National Honor Society for Psychology--PSI CHI, the Michigan Association of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and the Professional Industrial-Organizational Psychologist Network. My research interests include job satisfaction, organizational culture, morale, leadership development, industrial/organizational psychology, and diversity. When I am not facilitating courses online, I am giving back to my community by providing motivational messages to various audiences, coaching others, and volunteering with non-profit organizations.
