I have worked as an Applied Research Project Instructor with The Chicago School's Master of Arts Degree Program in Industrial Organizational Psychology for the past five years. My prior experience includes work with a globally recognized employee assistance program providing clinical and business management services for both local and international organizations. These services focused employee relations, work productivity, and employee wellness.
As a therapeutic counselor, I worked with a variety of populations throughout Chicago, Philadelphia and Burlington, Vermont. My clinical work focused on the integration of mental health services between students’ primary social systems.
I have worked with The Chicago School’s Center for Academic Excellence assisting students and faculty with writing skills, presentation skills, APA formatting, and test-taking skills. I also have a background in psychological research with the University of Vermont and the State University of New York at Buffalo.
I believe in encouraging students to use critical thought and creativity throughout the completion of their Applied Research Projects. I encourage communication and feedback from students and expect that students will remain engaged and communicative throughout the course. I have found that student success is dependent on student and instructor engagement, dedication, and responsiveness.
