Biography

Dr. Guy Balice earned a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine in Psychology, and holds a Master’s of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from UCLA, with Minors in Statistics and Clinical Psychology. Dr. Balice was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the UCLA School of Medicine, where he focused on research in stress and functional bowel disorders. For the last 18 years, he has taught in a number of graduate programs, mainly in his specialty areas of advanced and multivariate statistics and research methods, and also taught elementary statistics with undergraduates for 5 years. Dr. Balice is currently leads a research group studying recovery from domestic violence in female victims. He has worked as a clinician with a variety of populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, and is a licensed psychologist with a private practice.
