Iva earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Illinois and a Master’s degree in clinical counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has experience in higher education settings and multiple clinical settings across the Chicago area (residential homes, group homes, psychiatric hospitals, etc.). Iva’s work history includes being a professor at a university setting, vocational coordinator, and a clinical therapist (individual, family, and group therapy). After gaining experience in the field, Iva returned to The Chicago School to teach for the Master's in Psychology Online/Blended Programs as Adjunct Faculty and ARP Instructor. Her research experience includes culture and identity, use of social media in higher education and student engagement. Iva is currently in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. in International Psychology, Trauma Services Concentration.
