Biography

Dr. Jeanette Witter is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been in practice in the Washington, D.C., area for over 20 years. She is currently in private practice in Silver Spring, Md., working primarily with adults in individual psychotherapy. Dr. Witter has a special interest in working with women who are undergoing a life transition or who have a history of trauma. She also serves as a consultant to area mental health and/or homeless services agencies in the District of Columbia, which provide in-service training, case consultations, and clinical supervision. Dr. Witter has served as adjunct faculty in several graduate programs in clinical psychology over the last ten years.
