Marlene Cohen, Ed.D., BCBA-D is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been teaching online for The Chicago School for Professional Psychology since 2008. She is also the founder of Possibilities, LLC, which provides ABA services to children, adolescents, and adults with autism, developmental disabilities, ADD, and/or other learning issues.
Dr. Cohen has over 30 years of experience in the field in private, public, and university settings. She has presented both nationally and internationally at conferences on a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis topics.
Dr. Cohen is a co-founder and first President of the New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis and was instrumental in its development. The New Jersey Association for Behavior Analysis is a state chapter of the International Association for Behavior Analysis.
Areas of professional interest include: precision teaching, transition to adulthood, self-determination, functional assessment of challenging behaviors, social skills instruction for students with Asperger’s Syndrome, the use of visual supports for learners with autism, and curriculum development. Areas of research interest include: precision teaching and relational frame theory.
