Dr. Marlon Sukal is the Department Chair of the Industrial-Organizational/Business Psychology and Organizational Leadership Departments for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles and Irvine, CA. He is also the Program Director for ConCISE (an organizational effectiveness consulting center within the university). In his current roles he provides leadership for sustainability and growth of the department as well as overseeing the development of ConCISE. Dr. Sukal offers significant experience in action research methodologies, strategic planning, talent selection and management, organizational leadership, and data analysis strategies. He is also an avid proponent of innovative software for pedagogical and career advances.
Dr. Marlon Sukal’s research interests and expertise include work-life balance, career anchors, diversity management, telecommuting work arrangements, virtual team dynamics, person-organization fit, work compensation models, minority entrepreneurship, artificial neural networks, and leadership and social competencies. Dr. Sukal has published articles in the American Psychology Association (APA) Online database and the Organization Management Journal (OMJ). He presented this work at the 2007 APA conference in San Francisco and the 2006 Eastern Academy of Management in Buffalo. He has a published meta-analysis dissertation as a monogram that is available for purchase. He has just completed a book chapter within Entrepreneurial Women: New Management and Leadership Models set to be in print soon. He is also an active member of the Psychometrika, ASTD (American Society for Training and Development), SIOP (Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology), NCME (National Council for Measurement in Education) and ODN (Organization Development Network).
