Rachel Piszczor, Psy.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, in the Department of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.), Chicago Campus. Dr. Piszczor is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois and prior to joining the team at TCSPP, worked as a Pediatric Psychologist at La Rabida Children's Hospital on the south side of Chicago. Dr. Piszczor's education and training includes graduation from the American School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University Washington D.C. in 2005, Pediatric Psychology Internship and two-year Pediatric Psychology Fellowship (focus on pediatric nephrology) at Children's Hospital of Michigan in the city of Detroit. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric health psychology, pediatric sleep disturbance, disruptive behavioral disorders, parent-training and developmental disabilities.

Areas Of Expertise

Dr. Piszczor is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), including APA Division 54 (Pediatric Psychology). Dr. Piszczor is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

In addition to her teaching and private clinical work, Dr. Piszczor maintains a research relationship with La Rabida Children’s Hospital working with a team of multidisciplinary medical professionals on clinical program development for teens/young adults transitioning from pediatric to adult health care services.
