Dr. Sorkin has 30 years of experience providing psychological services and educational leadership. He served as Campus President for Argosy University/Washington DC, following positions of Vice President Academic Affairs and Department Head. He was an Associate Executive Director for the American Psychological Association and has held faculty appointments at the George Washington University and the American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Sorkin provided direct clinical services at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC, the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute (where he was also the Director of Psychology Training), and in private practice. He has served as president of two board of trustees. Dr. Sorkin earned his doctoral degree from the University of Miami, completing post-doctoral training programs in psychotherapy supervision, organizational psychology, and forensic psychology
