Dr. Teresa Pappas is a dissertation affiliate faculty member for the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In this role, she is directly involved in advising doctoral students by supervising all phases of their dissertation research. In addition, Teresa has taught courses at TCS ranging from: Organizational Culture and Design, Performance Management, and Change Management. Teresa is also Adjunct Faculty at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, teaching Analysis and Decisions, and Managing Organizational Diversity. Dr. Pappas earned her B.S. degree in Applied Psychology from Loyola University Chicago (magna cum laude), along with M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Teresa is a senior business professional with more than 20 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, financial services and publishing industries. She has worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Volkswagen of America, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and McGraw-Hill/London House. She specializes in the areas of leadership and employee development, diversity, executive coaching, team building, change management, and talent management. Teresa’s primary research interests are in the areas of leadership effectiveness and organizational diversity. She has published and presented nationally on topics ranging from managerial training effectiveness, leadership assessment and evaluation, measuring customer service orientation, and team building interventions.
