Experience an education rooted in diversity at our campus in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is located in the heart of the most diverse, multicultural community in the United States and provides a range of opportunities for personal enrichment and professional training.

Linking students to hundreds of training opportunities at our “partner agencies” in the local community, students are able to gain skills and build their resume while making a meaningful difference in different settings with a wide range of populations.

Build a multicultural understanding of growing fields

With programs and concentrations that focus on fostering a global understanding of growing fields—including Marital and Family Therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis—The Chicago School works with community partners and our own centers to build practicum and fieldwork that provides a dynamic hands-on learning experience.

Help provide solutions for families, local businesses, and organizations

In addition to meeting the state licensure requirements of California, our licensure programs are structured to help students gain knowledge and experience by providing services through our counseling centers, on-site consulting firm, or forensic center located in our local community.

Under the mentorship of licensed clinical staff, intern therapists at The Chicago School Counseling Centers provide services to clients and families struggling with a wide range of issues.

ConCISE is our student-run consulting firm where we provide a variety of services to local businesses and nonprofit organizations. Located on-site at the Los Angeles Campus, students gain practical learning experience by applying the theories that they’ve learned in the classroom in real-world situations.

Through partnerships with agencies and organizations throughout the Los Angeles area, the Forensic Training Institute provides students opportunities to train law enforcement personnel, government staff, and representatives of nonprofit organizations in areas ranging from gang intervention to recognition of mental illness. Questions related to accreditation status should be directed to the Commission on Accreditation:
