Biography

Dr. McMillian is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Virginia and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia and Virginia and a Nationally Certified Counselor. In addition, she is a Certified Correctional Healthcare - Mental Health Provider (CCHP - MH) and Board Certified Tele-Mental Health (BC-TMH) provider.

Her education includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Master's in Clinical Psychology and Community Agency Counseling, and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Dr. McMillian started as an Adjunct Professor in 2015 teaching in the Forensic and Counseling Psychology Departments.

Dr. Ivory M. McMillian has 25+ years of experience in the behavioral health field. Her experience includes working in community mental health with consumers with dual diagnosis and serious mental health issues, youth and families involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and private practice, where she specializes in treating individuals and couples with general adjustment issues, bipolar, depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders, marital issues, LGBTQIA, polyamory and other sexual interests, and have a general interest in working toward living their best life.
