National Center for International Studies

Working with international populations is a new and ever expanding frontier of the psychology profession. The Chicago School’s National Center for International Studies helps create a learning experience that is wholly unique and unrivaled when compared to other professional schools.

The National Center for International Studies’ mission is to lead internationalization in the area of teaching, learning, and scholarship for all of The Chicago School’s on ground and online programs.  Advancing TCSPP’s five pillars of internationalization, Academic Partnerships, International Education, Faculty Exchanges, International Community Service, and International Students; The NCIS is dedicated to the support and advancement of international initiatives for all members of the TCSPP’s community.

NCIS Goals

The goals of the National Center for International Studies are as follows:

  • Develop and implement opportunities for TCSPP faculty to advance international scholarship.
  • Develop and implement opportunities for TCSPP students to engage in international education, whether on campus, virtually or abroad.
  • Advance international exchange through active participation in J-1 Exchange Visitor activity.
  • Actively seek new and strategic initiatives to further internationalize TCSPP.
