Join the Washington, D.C. campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology for “Mind-Fullness: Tools to stretch the mind, body, and spirit in challenging times.”
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. In this presentation, we will discuss the basics of mindfulness and watch a brief video by Jon Kabat-Zinn, creator of the research-backed stress-reduction program Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
