Donna DiMatteo-Gibson, Ph.D. is a Dissertation Affiliate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is in private practice as an organizational psychologist in Los Angeles, California. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in both Speech Communications and Psychology from the University of San Diego. She also obtained two Masters of Science degrees in the areas of psychology and industrial-organizational psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) which is now called Alliant International University. In June of 1999, she graduated from CSPP with a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Her dissertation is titled " Career mobility, commitment and satisfaction: A comparative study of male and female law school graduates." She studied the job mobility patterns, career commitment and job satisfaction of male and female law school graduates in a variety of legal jobs.
As a working Management Consultant/org psychologist, her job responsibilities include research and data analysis, process improvement and customer satisfaction. She also works in higher education helping to develop and evaluate online programs. She has been teaching online graduate and undergraduate courses since 2001 and enjoys it immensely! She also has mentored students since 2003. She often makes professional presentations on topics, such as organizational effectiveness and distance learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and spending time at the beach! She also enjoys crossfit and running.
