Jennifer Klapatch received her Master's degree from The Chicago School in 2007 and her Ph.D in 2013. She has worked in the field in a variety of placements, including foster care, public schools, residential centers, and private practice. Jennifer is currently focusing her research and practice on “everyman's problems,” ranging from parenting challenges and how best to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to more clinical issues, like stress, anxiety, and depression. She conducted her dissertation research on pragmatic ways of increasing exercise. Jennifer served an adjunct faculty member in the ABA department from 2008-2012, has acted as Director of Client services at Chicago Behavior Consultants, Inc., and currently coordinates practicum placements for Master's level ABA students in addition to serving as a faculty member. She is also Chair of ABAI's Health, Sports, and Fitness Special Interest Group, which provides collaboration and networking opportunities for individuals interested in the application of ABA to health, sports, and fitness related research and practice.
