Dr. Gomberg began her career teaching English in the public schools of Evanston, Illinois. After moving to California, she received her Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University. As an active member of the State Bar of California, she has practiced law, tutored individual law students, and taught law at several Southern California law schools. In addition to teaching substantive classes such as family law, estate planning, and civil procedure, Dr. Gomberg created, directed, and taught in the first comprehensive academic support program at Western State University College of Law after earning a Master of Arts Degree in English.
A lifelong interest in psychology motivated Dr. Gomberg to return to school for a terminal Master of Arts Degree in that subject, two intermediate Master of Arts Degrees and her doctorate. She has served on Institutional Review Boards (IRB) (current Chair of TCSPP Southern California IRB), is a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society, co-chaired the APA Division 46 conference committee, chaired the APA Division 46 Ethics Committee, and has taught in both public and private schools at many levels.
