I am an alumnus of The Chicago School, and an Assistant Professor in the Business Psychology Online Department. I teach Advanced Statistics, Job Analysis and Employee Selection, and the Comprehensive Exam courses. I also chair a number of student dissertations, utilizing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches. My background is in assessment and law enforcement and military applications of psychology.
My own research interests involve the use of personality assessment to predict job performance in high risk occupations, the use of assessment in predicting military success, and the study of violence and terrorism. My own dissertation research involved using personality to predict success in hostile environment deployment.
I also work as a consultant for an assessment firm that works with Fortune 500 corporations on employee selection and development.
