Dr. Sandra Georgescu joined The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2005. She recieved her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and her doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Georgescu is fluent in English, French, and Romanian.

She works from a contextual cognitive-behavioral (C-CBT) perspective and is interested in mindfulness and acceptance based approaches. She is a peer-reviewed ACT trainer and member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) training community. Dr. Georgescu is also President of the ACBS - Chicago Chapter which seeks to enhance the C-CBT community and provide training, consultation and collaboration opportunities to professionals and various agencies in the Chicagoland area.
