Dr. Alex Aguilar began as a faculty member with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology eight years ago. He started as a Masters student after earning his B.A. in Psychology and minor in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2008. Continuing into his Doctorate (completed in 2013), Alex always challenges the status quo of how data is collected, managed, analyzed and shared to drive the greatest, most efficiently achieved impact for organizations. In addition to his faculty position, Alex is a Senior Consultant, Customer Experience & Retention Analytics at Allstate Insurance, where he has worked in a number of roles over the past 5 years (Management Consulting and Workforce Insights). He is an expert in employee and customer data (EX/CX) analytics and modeling, Big Data, and the role of technology in the workplace. Alex lives and works remotely from Decatur, GA with his wife (a fellow Chicago School graduate), dog, "Otter", and a collection of 3D printers he built. Successful students and candidates working with Alex will do the reading, put in the time to apply his feedback fully to prepare for the next step, and ask questions when they need help - "I'd rather answer "How do I do X, Y or Z" than "What can I do to raise my grade".
