Dr. Erika L. Liljedahl trained in the field of disability and neuropsychology. Dr. Liljedahl worked in various settings including outpatient and inpatient hospitals and clinics, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, in substance and day treatment facilities as well as in a consultation role. She has been teaching at the graduate level since 2000 and has has presented nationally and internationally on topics related to evaluations and neuropsychological conditions. Dr. Liljedahl maintains an active interest in her own professional development and is inspired by her travels to continuously integrate diversity into the classroom curriculum.

Organization Volunteer, current: Equine Assisted Therapy Volunteer, past: Developed Service Learning Course at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with Diveheart as a partner site. Diveheart uses educational scuba diving and snorkeling to assist with physical therapies as well as emotional and cognitive development. Participated in fund raising for The American Cancer Society and Multiple Sclerosis Society; and other pro bono volunteering.
