Dr. Steinman becomes the President-elect of APA's American Society for the Advancement of Pharmacotherapy (Division 55) in January 2018. She served as the Program Coordinator of the Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) at - of Hawai`i - Hilo's Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy for seven years and continues to teach students in the MSCP program. 


Dr. Steinman is a board member of the Big Island Substance Abuse Council and is a member of the Hawaiʻi Psychological Association's RxP Committee and Political Action Committee. 


Dr. Steinman recently accepted a position as the Associate Director - Postdoctoral MS in Clinical Psychopharmacology Program for Alliant International University.  In addition to teaching Research Methodology and Biological Bases of Behavior for Alliant, she teaches the following courses as an Adjunct Instructor for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology: Advanced Pathophysiology, Clinical Biochemistry & Neurochemistry, Pharmacology and Advanced Physical Assessment.


Dr. Steinman conducts weekly online meetings for MSCP graduates to prepare for the APA's PEP exam. 

Dr. Steinman moved to Hawai`i Island in 2003 and enjoys its nature, aloha and beauty
