Nadia T. Hasan is an Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron and she completed her pre-doctoral internship at Michigan State University's Counseling Center. Dr. Hasan currently teaches master's level courses including Practicum, Interviewing and Basic Counseling Skills, Wellness, Health and Prevention, and Professional Development. Previously, she taught at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the University of Houston-Downtown. Dr. Hasan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois and Texas. She provides psychotherapy and psychological assessment/ evaluations to culturally diverse clients in private practice. Dr. Hasan is active in professional organizations and leadership activities. She is the Chair-Elect for the Section for the Advancement of Women (SAW, Division 17; 2017-2021) and she recently served as Co-Chair of the American Psychological Association Board of Convention Affairs (2013-2016).
