Dr. Simeon Goodwin is currently an Assistant Professor and Dissertation Lead in the International Psychology Ph.D. program Dr. Goodwin earned his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. His dissertation focused on understanding men who abused their partners from a psychological perspective, in order to develop and deliver more effective violence abatement treatment programs.

Dr. Goodwin fulfilled his Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Yale University School of Medicine where he trained in the Westhaven Community Mental Health Center and Substance Abuse Treatment Center. He was recruited the following year to the Yale Consultation Center as Program Evaluator where he was responsible for the evaluation of a national demonstration project, funded by the Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMSHA). He was also responsible for providing clinical services to adults and leadership and operations consultation to non-profit organizations.
