Question and Answer
Please provide a statement or philosophy regarding the practice of psychology.

My philosophy of psychology and counseling is that people have the ability to heal themselves from within. Counselors merely provide a safe space for clients to engage in the work that is change. How they go about providing this relationship is the art and science of counseling.

Why did you choose to enter the field of psychology?

I chose to enter the field of psychology because I have always been interest in the awesome and ever changing power of the mind as it relates to the human condition.

What advice would you give to a student entering The Chicago School?

My best advice for a new student would be to understand the transformative power of this experience. Even when you wonder why you are being asked to do something, embrace the process. When you feel challenged, lean into the change.
