Dr. Tiffany Masson obtained her Doctorate of Psychology in 2002. Shortly after her post-doctoral training at UC Davis Children's Hospital- CAARE Center, she was employed by Cook County Juvenile Court and Northwestern School of Law as a staff psychologist. She conducted various forensic assessments and provided expert testimony related to child protection and juvenile justice matters. At present and in alignment with her training, Dr. Masson maintains a private forensic practice and speaks nationally about mental health, trauma and delinquency, child welfare matters, and conducting competent forensic evaluations. As a co-author, she has written articles for legal personnel about obtaining and utilizing comprehensive forensic evaluations and conducting competent Termination of Parental Rights Evaluations.

After serving in several faculty and administrative capacities over the past six years, Dr. Masson was promoted in 2013 to the role of Executive Director of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Division and most recently to the Dean of Online Programs at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In this role, she manages the overall performance and operations of the Online Campus with strong emphasis on academic and administrative excellence, creates a culture of excellence in online education programs, establishes metrics for success while bringing together a cohesive product management and academic team, and advances strategies to increase brand awareness.

In addition to Dr. Masson's commitment to higher-education, she is dedicated to international human capacity development. She co-developed a country specific 12-day trauma training program (Global HOPE Training Initiative) that aids teachers in effectively recognizing, assessing, and intervening with traumatized children. She works with local government and educational systems to assess the efficacy, overall impact, and sustainability of the program in an effort to build a strong paraprofessional counseling infrastructure in Rwanda. Her work in Rwanda and ability to develop government and private partnerships has proved successful in the expansion of the Global HOPE Training Initiative to Zambia.
