Chicago Social Impact Leaders Award Luncheon 2018

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology will present its inaugural Celebration of Chicago’s Social Impact Leaders luncheon and fundraiser on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Sofitel Hotel in Chicago, 30 N. Chestnut, to recognize the outstanding work in psychology within the Chicago community.

As a non-profit institution, The Chicago School will dedicate all proceeds of the luncheon to scholarships in clinical psychopharmacology and public health programs; The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education and excellence in education and training on the Chicago campus.

Celebrate Our Honorees

We are proud to honor four distinguished individuals who have improved access to mental health care, increased public awareness of mental health needs, and diminished the stigma associated with mental illness. Our honorees are Dr. Richard A. Chaifetz, Founder, Chairman, and CEO, ComPsych Corporation & Chairman, Chaifetz Group, LLC; Dr. Beth N. Rom-Rymer, a forensic expert in trauma and national leader in the Prescribing Psychologist Movement; and Marilyn and Lawrence Cohen, civic leaders and founders of The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute.Click here for a list of the honorees and their full biographies.

The reception will begin at 11:30 am, followed by lunch and the awards presentations from 12:00 pm to – 1:30 pm, which will feature Dr. Michele Nealon, President of The Chicago School.

Meet Our Chicago Emcee — Torrey DeVitto

The Social Impact Leaders luncheon will be emceed by actress Torrey DeVitto. Best known for her roles in the television dramas Chicago Med and Pretty Little Liars, Devitto is also a strong advocate for mental health.
