The Chicago School is excited to announce a new partnership with Psych Hub, an online platform providing free videos about mental health topics and issues.
Psych Hub was founded by Patrick J. Kennedy and Marjorie Morrison just last year but has already generated dozens of partnerships across the country. The organization aims to become a trusted resource for consumers, families, health care professionals and anyone else interested in quality information about behavioral health and substance use disorders. The animated videos are short but effective and can be produced in multiple languages.
“Our partnership will enable thousands of students to have access to free mental health education through short and engaging video content,” says Marjorie Morrison, Psych Hub’s President and CEO. “Our partnership with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is special because we both share in the common mission of educating people on mental health. Educating people together is the only way to impact the current mental health crisis we are facing.”
“We are looking forward to working with Marjorie and Patrick to advance the cause of mental health education,” says TCSPP President Dr. Michele Nealon. “We are particularly excited to share Psych Hub’s videos in other languages. As strong supporters of video as an education and outreach platform, we know there are many communities in the cities our campuses are located in that need, and could benefit from, this kind of information in multiple languages.”
