The Chicago School, a nonprofit university leading in psychology, health, business, counseling, and behavioral sciences, recently relocated its Dallas operations to a new campus in nearby Plano. The new campus is designed to strengthen student learning experiences, support community partnerships and promote the university’s ongoing commitment to equipping students with the practical and solutions-oriented training they’ll need to be successful in their respective fields.
The 19,000-square-foot campus is located at 6275 W. Plano Pkwy, Suite 130, in the International Business Park. It features modern classrooms equipped with advanced technology, as well as study rooms, meeting spaces, and collaborative areas to support student success. Situated in one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas, the campus is strategically positioned to provide students with access to a thriving job market, extensive networking opportunities, and key industry partnerships. The Chicago School’s Dallas campus offers nine distinct academic programs ranging from certificates to doctoral degrees, all employing The Chicago School’s signature combination of theory, practice, and cultural competence.
“The opening of our new Dallas campus represents a significant investment and step forward in The Chicago School’s commitment to serving students in Texas,” said Michele Nealon, Psy.D., president of The Chicago School. “This campus will further enhance our ability to prepare students to effectively meet the evolving needs of our communities.”
Since opening in 2018, the Dallas campus has embodied this mission, fostering a vibrant and diverse student community. Today, over 300 students and faculty actively use the campus, creating a dynamic environment for learning, collaboration, and innovation. The Chicago School has a lasting impact across Texas, with more than 1,600 Dallas campus alumni making significant contributions as mental health professionals, educators and business leaders. The campus is home to high-demand programs that directly address regional workforce needs, including the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program, which prepares graduates for licensure and clinical practice in a range of mental health settings.
“This new Plano campus exemplifies the power of place – where access, innovation, and community engagement come together to support student success,” said Michael Horowitz, Ph.D., chancellor of The Community Solution Education System. “It reflects our ongoing effort as a System to ensure our institutions are deeply embedded in the communities they serve.”
