 Dr. Canillas’ clinical work and research has focused on children and adolescents, children in foster care, family systems, domestic violence/trauma, couples therapy/relationship issues and LGBTQIA+ clients. He has previously served on the faculty of Pepperdine and National Universities, where he taught in the MFT program.
