Why we developed this podcast<\/h3>\n

A strategic goal of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is to advance psychology education through technological innovation. TCSPP\u2019s mission is integrated in the values of education, innovation, service, and community. The Chicago School provides students innovative and practitioner-based learning experiences in which they are able to positively impact others around the world and address issues faced by underserved populations. Through the collaboration of administration, faculty, and students, this podcast was created in order to pursue our vision of innovation and global outreach.<\/p>\n

What we hope to convey<\/h3>\n

Our goal for the podcast is to provide a global forum for disseminating information focused on the field of educational psychology and technology. We hope that this podcast will bring a unique dimension to the field by focusing on how educational psychology and educational technology transect to impact areas such as student learning, teaching, instructional design, curriculum development, assessment, online learning, and training. The growth in technology in education is self-evident, and the intersection of technology with the field of educational psychology is vital to further explore since technology impacts the way we teach, learn, and work. Because technology is often an integral aspect of educational and professional contexts, emphasis needs to be placed on how educational psychology and technology inter-relate to enhance academic outcomes and employee productivity.<\/p>\n

What listeners will gain from these interviews and how they can apply it to their lives<\/h3>\n

We have structured each podcast to focus on providing listeners an in-depth look at how educational psychology and technology impacts our approaches to learning, teaching, and working in a diverse range of professional settings. By listening to the podcast, listeners with hear stories of interviewees have impacted learners, employees, and communities through their pursuit of understanding how individuals learn and use technology to\u202fimprove performance.\u202fThis show provides\u202fa global medium to share and promote various issues and developments in learning and how professionals are utilizing technology. By listening to this show, we hope that listeners are able to develop a unique insight into how they can incorporate similar topics and trends into their own professional settings.<\/p>\n
