Join us at <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Maggiano\u2019s Ballroom<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> at 111 W. Grand Avenue for an afternoon of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">inspiration, good food and conversation.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The So<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">cial Impact Leaders Awards is a celebration of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Chicago-area\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mental health\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">advocates who work to have positive impact in the community.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This year we honor\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Anthony Ramirez-Di Vittorio, founder of Becoming a Man\u00ae (BAM\u00ae), for his work with thousands of students from at-risk environments<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Anthony <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> founded BAM\u00ae to help young men navigate <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">those\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">difficult circumstances that can threaten their futures<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. BAM creates\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a safe space for young men to express themselves openly, receive support, and develop social and emotional skills that help them stay on the path to success while making positive life choices. Today, the BAM\u00ae program serves more than 8,000 students across 140 schools \u2013 truly making a tremendous positive difference in the Chicago community. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Erie Neighborhood House is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Chicago School\u2019s first ever community partner.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The oldest operating settlement house in Chicago, Erie has been empowering the city\u2019s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> immigrant and low-income communities through education, access to legal services, health programs, and advocacy<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0for 150 years<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mental health advocate and retired Illinois State Health Department\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Regional Health Officer for Cook County Joseph Harrington<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> is our emcee.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A native Chicagoan, Joe has decades of experience working in education, social services, mental health, and public health.
