Many have accepted this, and have been wearing masks throughout the pandemic. However, as schools reopen for in-person learning we are learning that there is a group that has not fully subscribed to the idea of wearing masks: our children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Many children simply don&#8217;t understand the importance of wearing a mask. Their refusal to wear masks could indicate underlying anxieties about the pandemic and our new normal &#8211; which the mask represents.
